Now, I totally got obsessed with these Mini Bloomers shorts. It definitely was love at first sight and had to make 2 in a row.
I found this free pattern on Colette Patterns website. I added the vertical stripes going upwards from the bow tie, since I thought it looks a little more vintage.

Bag-ism
I got into a phase of making all these bags and ended up giving them away to friends and family.
Even though I have non left, I managed to take pictures of them to at least remind me of what I am capable of making, since I just started to sew.
These bags are half way invented but luckily there is the internet to help out and on my search for some ideas, I came across Bumble Bee Bliss where I found a tutorial for a gathered bag that I fell in love with.
The first bag I made got given to Jivan, who helped me out and gave me good ideas with my first few sewing projects. It helps so much having someone around with smart tricks! Thanks Jivan.

Storybook Ball in Mill Valley
Like last year, Kidzfaces (me) will be painting faces at the Mill Valley Storybook Ball.
Last years theme was "Alice in Wonderland", which was a blast and this years theme will be "The Wizard of Oz".
Read more about this years Storybook Ball and buy tickets now to support the Mill Valley mission of bringing books to life.
Here are some photos of my work from last year's Storybook Ball in Mill Valley.
